Job Description
Performs testing and troubleshooting of high voltage electronic units to meet production schedules and performance standards. Receives instructions on daily work and new assignments.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Uses test procedures, test equipment, drawings, schematics and verbal/written instructions to test and troubleshoot high voltage power units.
· Maintains fixturing, performs calibration, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
· Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of electronic circuits, components, instruments, and assemblies.
· Documents test results accurately.
· Communicates openly and effectively in a professional manner.
· Understands and follows all safety requirements.
· Understands and follows all ISO practices and procedures.
· May act as the technical interface with other departments.
· Considers the impact of quality on the customers when making decisions.
· Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
· Other duties as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in a manufacturing environment which may be noisy and fast paced. The Test Department contains live high voltage units up to 60,000V. Overtime (OT) may be required in times of increased production.
