Job Description

  • Lead accelerated implementation of a monthly SIOP process that balances demand, supply, and financial goals of the business in one consensus plan
  • Partner with demand planner, master scheduler, and financial analyst to determine high-level plan risks and guide scenario analysis and cross-functional reconciliation
  • Create and present supply plan scenarios (including shipment, inventory, and capacity) to maximize our ability to meet unconstrained demand and financial goals
  • Present SIOP plan proposals, risks, and risk mitigation actions to executive leadership
  • Create and maintain rough-cut labor and machine capacity models
  • Create and maintain inventory forecasts and strategies
  • Support the master scheduler in translating SIOP long-term plans into MRP master schedule dates
  • Work with finance to understand capital budget, net working capital, and revenue / margin impacts of capacity, inventory, and production plan changes
  • Understand cumulative lead time (external + internal processes) and critical path for major product lines
  • Provide cumulative lead time feedback during proposals process
  • Apply your advanced level of understanding of planning processes to facilitate effective data analytics and data alignment across sales, finance, supply chain, production, and other functions
  • Create reports and manage metrics and visuals that pull data from MRP or other sources for the purpose of tracking performance to plan
  • Help educate and mentor all functional partners on SIOP process best practices
  • Drive SIOP process continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years’ experience in a SIOP, supply planning, master scheduling, production scheduling, capacity planning, or program management role OR;
  • Associate’s Degree and 7+ years’ experience in a SIOP, supply planning, master scheduling, production scheduling, capacity planning, or program management role

  • Advanced or expert Excel skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience using ERP and Business Intelligence tools
  • Experience leading the implementation of a new SIOP process
  • APICS certification
  • Ability to travel 0-10% of the time
