Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine tasks to ensure production quality standards are met. The selected candidate must have the ability to perform the essential duties & responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation. • Performs set-up, calibration, testing, tuning and troubleshooting of RF/MW circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
May require use of a microscope• Recognizes failures and set up problems and determines need for appropriate corrective action.
• Operates a variety of programmable test equipment (i.e. automatic network analyzer, scalar analyzer, oscilloscope, pulse generator, meters, power supplies, etc.)
• Works from written and verbal instructions, test specs, wiring diagrams and schematics.• Records and maintains test data.
• May assist more experienced technicians with more complex test procedures.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Preferred – AAS degree in Electronics Technology or tech school graduate. Two (2) years related experience. Must have understanding of RF/MW theory/measurements.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must possess excellent communication skills with ability to exchange information and interface effectively, clearly, and concisely.
Must be Microsoft Office literate.
