Job Description

Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, process travelers, and work instructions.

· Produce precision machined components while meeting quality and production requirements.

· Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.

· Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensional requirements.

· Perform tool changes, tool offsets, and minor program edits when required.

· Monitor tooling and machine performance to maintain process stability.

· Troubleshoot minor machining, tooling, and quality issues.

· Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.

· Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

· Work effectively with supervisors, engineering, and quality personnel.

Qualifications

· Minimum 3–5 years of CNC machining experience.

· Experience with CNC machine setup and operation.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

· Working knowledge of GD&T and dimensional tolerancing.

· Basic understanding of G-code and M-code.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

· Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment preferred.

· Stand for extended periods throughout the workday.

· Lift up to 50 pounds.

· Frequently bend, reach, and handle materials.

· Safely operate manufacturing equipment.
