Job Description
ATE Engineer, to provide TPS SW development for multiple Business Units, including DataBus, Power Control, and Motion Control. Applicant should have a strong background in Electrical Engineering, and possess a demonstrated ability in designing, developing, and deploying complex C/C++ and Visual Basic test applications. Expertise in Commercial Instrumentation, Military Interface protocols, as well as high performance data acquisition and control, will be the prime test equipment focal areas.
Troubleshooting and Failure Mode Analysis, digital communication, timing synchronization, and closed loop feedback will require competencies in conventional test instrumentation as well as VXI / PXI technology. A strong emphasis on team cohesion, as it relates to coordinated development of Standard Platform and Common Test Executive tools, is required. Ability to generate high quality Test sequences, Validation sequences, Calibration sequences, and Test Reports, as well as estimates, design review material, and professional presentation packages, is also critical.
