Job Description
Transformer mechanical assembly
· Heavy transformer coil winding (1 KW to 70 KW)
· Soldering (in-house certification will be required)
· Assemble and wire various magnetic components
· Winding experience (bobbin/layer winding)
· Reading winding sheets, part lists, and mechanical drawings
· Mechanical assembly and reworking
· Working with different types of wire types and installation systems
· Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Required Skills:
· 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or technical certificate
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
Desired Skills:
· Experience with soldering, reworking and mechanical systems.
· Skilled in the use of hand tools.
· Strong attention to detail and time management.
· Able to read and interpret specification, diagram and/or blueprints.
· Able to perform simple math (addition and subtraction, ex. look at dimension).
· Good team and people’s (interpersonal) skills. “Can do” attitude
· High motivation and drive.
· Verbal and written communication skills.
· Good knowledge of manufacturing techniques of electromechanical products.
· Experience in using basic manufacturing equipment, tools and gages such as: multimeters, torque and force gages, etc.
