Job Description
Assembler-
Will be trained to perform a variety of complex micro-assembly operations of a non-repetitive nature using a microscope. The candidate selected must have the ability to perform the essential duties & responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation. The duties and responsibilities may change from time to time without notice and include but is not limited to the duties described below.
Major functions: Follows sequences of operations in performing complex micro assembly operations that may include epoxy, soldering, wire bonding, die bonding and gap welding.
Technical/Functional skills:
• Ability to reads and interprets blueprints and op sheets to determine proper assembly procedure
• Ability to use a microscope, small hand tools such as tweezers, hand-soldering equipment to perform work. (Required)
• May assist/instruct lower level assemblers.
• Is required to maintain records.
Education/Experience
Ability to work under a microscope and with small tools required. Knowledge of MIL specifications a plus.
High school graduate or equivalent.
