Job Description
- Design, development, and test of digital/analog hardware
- Develop digital architectures
- Generate PCB schematics & support PCB layout
- Author and debug VHDL & C code
- Create Graphical User Interfaces (GUI’s)
- Generation of applicable documentation
- Interfacing with lead engineer, RF engineers, PCB designers, and production test technicians
Job Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5 Years of applicable work experience
- Experience with authoring and debugging VHDL & C code
- Knowledge of CPLD/FPGA development tools (Xilinx/Altera preferred)
- Understanding of basic Digital and Analog circuit principles
- Graphical User Interface (GUI) development tools (Labview/Labwindows)
- Experience with various micro-controller designs (PIC/Renesas/TI)
- Experience with ADC and DAC interfacing
- Familiarity with peripheral interfaces (SPI/I2C/UART/Ethernet) preferred but not required
- Basic familiarity with MS Office tools
