Job Description
- Review of D & D released documents. This will include reviewing fabrication (mechanical) drawings, parts lists, schematics and assembly drawings.
- Maintain a component failure trend data base and obtain component failure analysis from component manufactures when required.
- Maintain the calibration recall data base using Met Track software.
- Maintain the defect trend analysis report.
- Analyzes reports and returned products and report corrective action to customers.
- Maintain Corrective Active system, including data base and all required follow up.
- Witnesses in-plant testing of electronic equipment in accordance with an approved test procedure.
- Performs source inspections.
- Implements established methods and procedures for testing and inspecting the quality level of products and production equipment.
- Maintains a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients, and vendors.
Job Skills
- Bachelors degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, equivalent military schooling or ASQ-CE certification.
- Minimum eight years related experience or engineering/trade/military school.
- Computer literate.
