Job Description
- Performs in-process and final inspection of electrical and mechanical assemblies; conducting visual and electrical measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
- Performs production floor process audits as required by Quality Manager.
- Approves finished products by confirming product specifications; with applicable products for re-work.
- Provide assistance to Incoming Inspection as directed by Quality manager.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
- Assist Quality Manager regarding the Preliminary Review process.
- Supports the Quality Engineer with data collection for SPC.
- Collaborates with Quality Manager in the performance of internal auditing.
- Perform follow up verification of internal corrective action requests under direction of Quality Manager.
- Furthers quality knowledge through educational opportunities including IPC-610 training.
Job Skills
- 5+ years of quality experience
- High School and/or A.S.Q.C Certification
- Use of mechanical measuring and test devices. PC fluency.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach and on occasion lift a maximum of 30 lbs., ability to climb a ladder.
