Job Description
- Using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment; perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test electronic devices.
- Thorough understanding of the basic of all things soldering.
- Knowledge of board level component identification, testing and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of testing and soldering equipment including, but not limited to multi meter, soldering iron, hot air rework gun, removal hot tweezers.
- Proficient in micro soldering using both soldering irons and hot air rework guns
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Quality Manager/Production supervisor.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Provide hands on job function and cross training to coworkers as needed.
- Follow product drawings for assembly of components.
Job Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English Preferred
- Experience in inventory control
- Production assembly, molded plastic components, PCB assembly
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move between 10 to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds 4.Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision
