Job Description
- Primary responsibility for Administration and operational support of corporate servers & network infrastructure including: Support of Email/Exchange, Active directory, ESXI/ VmWare and Veeam. Hardened Installation and maintenance of operating systems including Windows, Linux, and vendor-specific systems.
- Management of Dell EqualLogics storage arrays.
- Provide after-hours coverage as required by being on call and available to respond.
- Support daily operations including on-site and remote user issue resolution, account maintenance and permission management.
- Aids in the support of 300 Corporate users and executives.
- Developing procedures and/or scripts for automation of processes.
- Document processes and procedures. Apply configuration management disciplines to maintain hardware/software revisions, security patches, and documentation.
- Manage and coordinate small to moderate size projects.
- Act as a primary customer and vendor interface. Participate in making technical recommendations for tactical and strategic directions.
Job Skills
- BS/BA in Computer Science/Engineering, Information systems (or equivalent). 5+ years experience with Server administration.
- Ability to learn new skills and technologies as required.
- Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in an empowered, dynamic self-directed work team environment as an Individual contributor and as a member of a team.
- Must be able to attain a Secret Security Clearance.
- 2+ years experience with Network administration and Network Security.
- Experience with Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPNs, Routers, Storage Arrays, Mobile Device Management (Good Technology), Symantec Enterprise Protection,
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
