Job Description
• Assist in creation/validation of new processes and procedures prior to implementation on production floor.
• Liaise with engineering department in design and development of new product
• Assist in development of manufacturing outlines for electronic products
• Read and possess an in depth understanding of schematics
• Assist in development of specifications
• Use environmental equipment for post defect diagnostic purposes
• Assist in Root-Cause-Analysis, 5-Why Exercises to correct product and process defects
• Proficiency in SMT as well as Through-Hole soldering
• Use precision measuring tools and precision diagnostic equipment
• Ensure high standards of quality are achieved and maintained
• Ensure data entry accuracy for data analysis
• Follow instruction from Supervisors
Job Skills
• Ability to make appropriate judgment calls when deciding the correct course of action during troubleshooting operations
• Associates Degree or Equivalent in Electronic Course Track
• 5+ Years’ Experience in Electronic Troubleshooting and Repair
• IPC A-610 Class II Certification
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
