Job Description

Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components and assemblies.

· Execute Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) and document results.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, process travelers, and work instructions.

· Verify product conformance to dimensional and visual requirements.

· Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, and dial indicators.

· Complete inspection reports and maintain quality records.

· Identify and document nonconforming material; assist with containment activities.

· Work with Manufacturing and Engineering to resolve quality concerns.

· Support first article inspections (FAI) and production validation activities.

· Maintain calibration awareness of inspection equipment.

· Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.

Qualifications

· Minimum 3–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Experience performing final inspections on precision machined parts and assemblies.

· Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.

· Working knowledge of GD&T and dimensional tolerancing.

· Experience performing ATPs or functional testing.

· Strong documentation and communication skills.

· Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic quality records.

Preferred Experience

· AS9100 quality system experience.

· FAI/AS9102 documentation.

· High-mix, low-volume manufacturing.

· Aerospace, defense, or electromechanical manufacturing.

· ERP/MRP systems.

· Basic CMM experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

· Stand for extended periods throughout the workday.

· Safely operate inspection and test equipment.
