Job Description
This role involves executing and managing all aspects of accounting functions within the
organization. Responsibilities encompass the preparation of financial statements,
undertaking account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax
filings, aiding in audit processes, and fulfilling additional accounting duties as required.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Maintains fixed asset records in accordance with established standards, policies,
and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), as applicable.
• Ensure capital spending adheres to corporate policies and authorized limits.
• Guarantees the meticulous logging of all capital expenditure requests, including all
formal approvals and processes.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and taxes management.
• Collaboration with other teams on capital expenses and payments.
• Assistance with staff transaction questions.

• Maintaining the chart of accounts.
• Execute monthly financial processes including preparing statements, reports, and
records through the collection, analysis, and summarization of account data.
• Maintain accurate and aligned balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Conduct financial and profitability analysis as required.
• Support the coordination of accounting tasks and projects.
• Develop revenue projections and expense forecasts.
• Analyze and consolidate financial data to produce journal entries.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of all business transactions during monthly
closing procedures.
• Aid in the compilation of company-wide reports.
• Verify the precision and integrity of accounting reports and systems.
• Contribute to the enhancement of finance and accounting systems, processes, and
controls.
• Maintain adherence to internal controls and financial regulations.
• Prepare for annual audits.
• Identify and resolve audit discrepancies, accounting variations, and compliance
issues.
• Contribute to various tax calculations.
• Prepare and submit tax reports or work in conjunction with a tax consultant,
addressing state, federal, property, sales, and unclaimed property taxes.
• Cost accounting functions as necessary.
• Participate in company-sponsored and specialized training programs to enhance
skills and professional development.
• Set a consistent example for others in management effectiveness, leadership style,
communication, and integrity.
• Mentor and guide coworkers/new hires as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Maintain compliance with company safety policies by adhering to all established
safety protocols and ESD procedures to protect sensitive electronic components.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Computer literacy is essential, along with the ability to read, write, review, and
approve documentation.
• Participate in company-sponsored and specialized training programs to enhance
skills and professional development.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Comprehensive understanding of tax regulations and Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• CMA certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communication.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel & Google Applications
• Minimum 3-5 years of technical accounting experience required.
• 2-4 years of audit experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in general ledger functions is essential.
• Experience within the manufacturing industry and inventory reconciliation is
preferred.
Desired Qualifications:
• Minimum of bachelor’s in accounting or 10 years’ experience within related
field. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an
emphasis in Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years experience as an accountant, accounting supervisor, or
manager
• Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft
Office Suite; Access, database, or other system knowledge
• Proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system
implementation
• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and
cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws,
standards, and state/national regulations
• Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or
recommendations
• Attention to detail
• Able to work well with senior executives and team, as well as mentor/lead other
team members
