Job Description
- Engineering IT Customer Support providing assistance to GCS user community in the Computer Deployment area.
- Perform desktop imaging, provide technical support/troubleshooting and delivery of assigned computers to employees.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.
- Customer service and teamwork skills.
Job Skills
- High school diploma plus 3 years related experience.
- Associates degree is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of networks and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Must be able to move or relocate 50 LBS max; moving monitor’s and computers; they use push carts to move product.
- Maintain accurate logs and spreadsheets.
- Track/prepare metrics.
- Desirable Additional Skills: Must have good communication and problem solving skills; Familiarity with Unix and Linux operating systems a plus.
- Deliver PC’s to user community; setup of PCs
- Must have hands-on experience with lap tops and desk tops, loading and configuring machines, familiar with PC hardware a MUST
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
