Job Description
- A strong analog skillset
- A strong digital skillset
- Experience in troubleshooting complex electronic circuits to the component level
- Radar or IFF experience
- Familiarity with switching power supplies
- The ability to work with engineering notes and sketches, rather than official test procedures.
Job Skills
- Experienced with diagnostic instrumentation such as Spectrum analyzers, Logic analyzers, Audio analyzers, Power analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Some mechanical assembly/disassembly ability
- Some soldering skills necessary for simple component replacement
- Depending on the program they’re assigned to, the tech may have to lift items that weigh ~25 to ~40 lbs. (heavier items require a two-man lift)
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
