Job Description
• Responsible for conducting incoming, in-process and final inspection of components, subassemblies and assemblies to ensure conformance to defined specifications.
• Process daily incoming in-process, and final assembly inspection using approved drawings, parts lists, schematics, or other specifications.
• Electrical inspection of printed circuit boards ensuring compliance to drawings JSTD-001, IPC 610 or other technical specifications
• Mechanical and electronics inspection including the use of gauges, various measurement equipment, Multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Able to perform intermediate inspection tasks with little or no supervision.
• Performs source inspection at suppliers’ facilities, as required.
• Records findings of inspection results; collaborates in the disposition of nonconforming product.
Job Skills
• Knowledge of calibration requirements.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Lead Tools used for reduction of waste.
• Demonstrate self-improvement via course study or quality certifications.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of three years’ experience in electronics inspection
• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds for short distances.
• Not color blind; visual acuity sufficient for distinguishing differences in small objects.
• Must be able to pass background and/or drug screening.
