Job Description
• Primary technical resource on a Sustaining Engineering Team.
• Analyzes product for conformance to specifications and regulatory requirements, defines problem, recommends and implements solutions.
• Creates test protocols, runs experiments and writes test reports.
• Specifies/designs and constructs and evaluates test equipment and environments.
• Develops work instructions for Engineering as well as production test environment.
• Interfaces with field technicians for problem definition and resolution.
• Responsible for providing technical input to the Development Team that includes design, development, testing, troubleshooting, technical documentation, transfer to manufacturing and conformance to all relevant regulations.
• Completes product documentation of moderate complexity.
• May lead projects of limited complexity.
Job Skills
• BSEE
• 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience
• 2+ years of medical device manufacturing experience (capital equipment, small hand held devices, controls, consoles, power systems, etc.)
• Strong trouble shooting skills
• Experience with circuit design, development and debugging tools, circuit analysis, digital and analog circuitry, engineering drawings and documentation.
• Design, fabrication and testing proficiency with common electrical and electronic components
• Experience with SW/FW programming and validation.
