Job Description

• Provide field service/repair support and consultation such as field repairs of pneumatic cylinders, Customer solutions systems, valve terminals and troubleshooting.
• Advise customers and provide best technical solution to solve the customer issue: complete assigned jobs with assistance from lead technicians and engineers: conduct required tests using test equipment: check and maintain equipment to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Provide timely, detailed and accurate reports on service work performed, product performance, and warranty liabilities to company expense and time allocation.
• Become computer efficient using laptops provided and mastering all required software.
• Maintain all service equipment including all test equipment, tools issued to meet specifications including ISO 9001:2008 requirements, etc. in good working condition and maintain sufficient inventory to respond to standard calls.

Job Skills

• Must have the availability to work evening and weekend hours.
• Frequent U.S. travel will be required by automobile within the district territory and possibly by air plane to support other domestic districts.
• Occasional international travel is possible to support global customers.
• Must be available to be on-call and respond to customer emergencies.
• Frequent overnights, up to 50% of the time are common.
• Possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Proven customer service, sales ability, and ability to handle irate or difficult customers and gain satisfaction.
• Associate degree
• 3-5 years experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems. Pneumatic cylinders and E drives.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints, flow charts and schematics.
• Understanding of Federal, State and local environmental safety legal requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret technical information
• MS-Office, SAP, Excel, MS Word, Share Point
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
