Job Description
- Construct complete breadboard and experimental (prototype) electronic devices from schematics, sketches or verbal orders.
- Perform complex tests using various test equipment.
- Construct own test fixtures and apparatus as requested.
- Completely troubleshoot an electronic system to determine cause and remedy for malfunctioning.
- Prepare test documentation and reporting.
Job Skills
- Associate degree in electronics and/or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-10 years related experience.
- Ability to follow test procedures and read schematics.
- Troubleshoot at system level both DC and RF related problems
- Experience with lab test equip (DVM, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies)
- Experience with Measure “S” parameters; Measuring third order IMD; Noise figure meters; Phase noise; Power meters; Scalar Network Analyzers; Signal Generators; Spectrum Analyzers; Vector Network Analyzers
- Microscope experience
- Work with tweezers / pick up small parts.
