Job Description

  • Ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before products reach our customers.
  • Responsible for inspecting procedures, looking for continual improvement, liaison for government representatives and supervising the quality inspectors.
  • Devise/update procedures to inspect and report quality issues
  • Monitor all operations that affect quality (FAI, ATP’s, audits, MRA’s, Cause and corrective action, training, etc.)
  • Supervise and guide inspectors, Quality Engineering and other staff as required
  • Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and monitoring quality ratings
  • Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied
  • Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
  • Review current standards and policies
  • Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation as required
  • Communicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections
  • Involvement in quality audits
  • AS9100 certification and maintenance

Job Skills

  • Must be U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
  • Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role
  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
  • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and databases
  • Degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Knowledge of AS9100 is required
  • Knowledge of CMM a plus
