Job Description
- Hands on supervisor of the mechanical inspection process for First Article, In-process, and Final Inspection
- Must have mechanical inspection experience with small precision parts in a machine shop environment.
- Must have experience leading staff (delegation, problem solving, training, motivating, performance evaluations, warnings, hiring, terms).
- Supervise the QC Inspectors which includes providing ongoing training and support, as well as evaluating their performance
- Review and distribute daily work to QC Inspectors
- Participate in the hiring process and performance management process
Job Skills
- Minimum of 10 years relevant inspection experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required
- Must be able to read engineering drawings
- Must have prior experience in a Machine Shop environment
- Must possess leadership abilities and work well with others
- Must be proficient in MS Office
- Working knowledge of CMM and/or Vision systems required
- Knowledge of ISO/AS9100, SPC & Gears desired
