Job Description
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex high power flight control/pump control electronic units to the component level with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and understand schematic and wiring diagrams, utilizing standard and customized electronics test equipment.
- Assist Project Engineering and Work cell staff with supporting engineering technical duties, unit evaluation and recommended corrective actions which require a high degree of accuracy.
- Requires ability to proficiently set-up electrical test equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, hypots, megohmeters, LCR meter, automated test equipment, and other standard lab equipment. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of electronic principles.
Job Skills
- Five to seven years related experience, trade or military training and demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, schematics and procedures.
- Basic PC and electronic console skills.
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
