Job Description
- Assists in the design, development, and fabrication of Printed Circuit Boards for equipment or prototypes.
- Understanding of specifications for basic electronic components.
- Able to read and understand datasheets of standard electronic components, and how to interface them with other circuitry.
- Create Schematics using schematic capture software.
- Able to produce prototype PCB layouts.
- Clearly document engineering product based on inputs from engineering, manufacturing and sales.
- Able to review PCB layouts for signal integrity and connectivity.
Job Skills
- Two year technical degree required.
- Knowledge of drafting tools and practices required.
- Computer skills in Window, Word, and Excel required.
- Experience with OrCAD Schematic capture software desired.
- Experience with Cadence Allegro PCB editor desired.
- Experience working in an engineering environment desired.
- Proficient in English both written and verbal.
