Job Description
• Perform complex tests using various test equipment. Solve mechanical and electronics problems involved in the operation of the product.
• Set up and test complex microwave circuits, products or systems on an independent basis.
• Troubleshoot and help solve problems in new products.
• May construct own test fixtures and apparatus as required.
• Prepare test documentation, analyze and summarize results.
• May make suggestions on engineering changes.
• May function as a team or project leader providing guidance and instruction to junior level technicians.
• May participate in field assignments as required.
• Perform complex alignments.
• Perform other tasks as may be required by supervisor.
Job Skills
• AAS degree in Electronics Technology or tech school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of seven (7) years in related production environment with ability to use practical RF/MW theory, basic machine tools and work from schematics and rough sketches are required.
• Must have understanding and implementation of electronic/engineering principles, documentation and related mathematical skills.
• Must have understanding of microwave measurements and use of microwave test equipment.
• Must have knowledge of microwave semiconductor assembly and test techniques.
• Must have excellent organization skills as well as skill in Microsoft office environment.
