Job Description

• Performs testing of motor/actuators to ensure the product performs to its proposed functions. • Working with all types of test measurement equipment, familiar with environmental testing, perform test set ups, produce test reports, monitor instruments and processes used to test these products, coordinate maintenance on equipment, good communication and writing skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment • Analyzes, interprets, and evaluates test data and prepares technical reports using various software programs (e.g. Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, etc.) for delivery to the customer. • Establish test and inspection techniques and/or procedures • Interpret standards, specifications and procedures • Interface with customers regarding test requirements and results. • Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations. • Exercises control over operational, functional, and performance phases of tests. • Confers with engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data and data interpretation. • Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by engineering and Management personnel. • Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on test samples. • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. • Recommends measures to improve quality of test/inspection methods and equipment performance • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department

Job Skills

• Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes. • PC literate, (word, excel.) • Good communication skills. • Ability to read prints and diagrams. • Proactive and energetic. • Three to five years manufacturing electronic test technician experience. • An Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, technical school or equivalent work experience.
