Job Description
This position is being offered at PT hours from 4 or 5pm to 9:30pm at night. This is a second shift position with flexible PT hours.
• Performs wiring, soldering and assembly operations on difficult and complex subassemblies, final assemblies and harnesses. Ability to solder small components utilizing a microscope.
• Hand soldering and performing visual inspection of circuit boards after SMT and thru-hole operations
• Other duties include hand placing components, depaneling and any other duties related to the PCB assembly
• Mechanical assembly of subassemblies, end item units and fixtures
• Wiring of components from elementary wiring diagrams or drawings
• Manufacture harness assemblies for subassemblies, end units and PCB’s
• Support rework of customer service material
• Able to read and work from schematics and assembly drawings and other complex diagrams
• Follow quality procedures relevant to position while supporting the companies Quality System
Job Skills
• Must be knowledgeable and able to utilize all assembly tools such as soldering irons, pliers, cutters, etc.
• Knowledge of ISO quality, environmental and safety requirements a plus.
• Must be able to work with versatility and flexibility in a multi-task environment. PC literacy a plus
• High school or technical trade school graduate preferred, or training in military service
• Minimum of seven (7) years recent wiring experience
• IPC 610 and J-STD-001 Certification a plus
