Job Description
• Under direct supervision, perform a variety of general maintenance duties that may involve manual labor to keep the premises furniture and equipment clean and orderly.
• Collect and remove rubbish from buildings and grounds.
• Sweep floors.
• Clean machines as directed.
• Keep lavatories clean and replace supplies as needed.
• Assist in moving furniture and equipment as directed.
• May shovel snow.
• Perform simple building maintenance repairs and other related duties as assigned.
• Replace light bulbs as needed.
• Assist maintenance mechanics in all phases of maintenance and construction projects.
Job Skills
• Must be able to work on ladders.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• May perform other departmental duties as necessary or any other assignment given by Supervisor within reason.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Minimum of six months related experience preferred with basic knowledge of hand tools.
