Job Description
• Performs complex laboratory tasks including construction and testing of breadboard and experimental (prototype) electronic subassemblies and devices from schematic of a difficult and responsible nature in connection with one or more phases of a project.
• Works under minimum supervision.
• Construct complete breadboard and experimental (prototype) electronic devices from schematics, sketches or verbal orders.
• Perform complex tests using various test equipment.
• Construct own test fixtures and apparatus as requested
• Completely troubleshoot an electronic system to determine cause and remedy for malfunctioning.
• May participate in field assignments as required.
• Prepare test documentation and reporting.
• Make suggestions on engineering changes.
• Perform complex alignments.
• Construct data files for production units.
• Perform other duties as necessary and as assigned.
Job Skills
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Associate degree in electronics and/or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5-10 years related experience.
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
