Job Description

• Responsible for all aspects of AVM, company analytics, ACE, BusLink applications, and company reports. This position is the business leader of these products and serves as the subject matter expert for all customers internal and external.
• Organizes input from all stakeholder groups, both internal and external, and tempers that input with market knowledge/research to forge a vision and comprehensive strategy to differentiate company’s offerings and dominate the market.
• Obtains and maintains mastery of the market, our customers, technology, our competitors, and the business relationship between them
• Functioning as the Product Owner and leading all aforementioned development teams
• Defining and maintaining the backlog and leading all Agile meetings
• Provides regular updates to the Executive Team through the Product Status Meeting
• Regular visits to customer sites to ensure the product is meeting and exceeding expectations as well as obtaining development requests for new functionality as revenue
• Attend at least two industry trade shows, annually, to perform market research and competitive analysis
• Support sales by providing training and sales tools
• Support Systems Engineering by reviewing preliminary design documents and help the systems engineer steer the requirements towards standard product
• Lead and organize annual user conferences
• When requested support orals demonstrations to support closing business
• Investigates product issues at customer sites as part of the customer support escalation path
• Support the development of marketing copy and reviews all product content
• Support Proposals by maintaining the proposal library (for assigned products), reviewing compliance matrixes, proposing strategy, and working with engineering to provide NRE sizing for development items

Job Skills

• Communicate with and supports all operational aspects of the business, including IT Deployment, Proposals, Finance (Pricing), Systems Engineering, Project Management, Training, Sales, and Customer Service.
• To absorb and obtain mastery of the Public Transit Industry with a focus in bus transit Maintenance and Operations
• Revise and develop a new pricing and packaging strategy
• Update all the proposal library content
• Transition and manage all third party partner relationships: Yellowfin, Wherescape, Cummins, Voith, and so on
• Deliver software to obtain payment milestones on time or early when possible
• To continue and see to fruition the vision for AVM, company analytics, ACE, BusLink Applications, and company reports, as well as continuing to build upon that vision
• To make direct contributions to support business development and to close business
