Job Description

  • Direct sales of the company product to a diverse customer base including: Federal, State and local governments as well as commercial/industrial owners located mostly in the NY and CT area. Additionally product representation, support and training will be required for a small but growing number of regional distributors located across the USA.
  • Good scientific/technical background – field or hands on experience would be a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills will be required for presentations directly to customers, environmental groups/consultants and to numerous specifying engineers who in many cases are responsible for recommendations.

Job Skills

  • 4 years college. Demonstrated emphasis on a science or technical curriculum would be beneficial.
  • The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of sales in a related field and knowledge in one or more of the following
  • General commercial construction – hands on experience a plus
  • Stormwater drainage systems: planning, estimating and/or construction
  • Experience with selling or specifying underground piping and conveyance systems: concrete, plastic or metal
  • Experience with Stormwater treatment practices, BMP’s: specifying and/or construction
  • Experience with other filtering systems: Drinking water, vehicle or water craft systems
  • Knowledge of Storm water regulations at Federal and/or State level
