Job Description
- Performs a variety of inventory analysis tasks and prepares summary reports to management regarding inventory balances, trends, and inventory data.
- Conducts excess and obsolete inventory (E&O) reviews, analyzes inventory levels and trends, and provides recommendations to management to improve inventory management practices. Prepares summary reports to management.
- Maintains inventory data and publishes monthly inventory classification reports
- Assists in the development of Just-In-Time (J.I.T.) KanBan, and other Materials techniques to support inventory management objectives.
- Maintains cycle count data and publishes weekly summary reports to management.
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of the Vendor Cross-Reference File in the manufacturing database.
- Ensures compliance with operating procedure, work instructions and ISO900 standards.
- Identifies and pursues cost reduction opportunities and process improvements to support business objectives.
Job Skills
- Three (3) years experience in inventory control, inventory reporting or related material management skills.
- Prior experience in manufacturing environment preferred with exposure to ERP systems.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Exposure to ISO9000 requirements preferred.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
