Job Description
- Will be responsible for creating travelers/ routers, flow charts, visual aids, tooling/ fixtures and ECO’s to support assembly floor
- Troubleshoot defects and problems in products and processes as they occur, with the goal of finding and correcting root causes of discrepancies
- Interface with suppliers to resolve problems associated with the fabrication of parts
- Work with design on new programs to evaluate and develop new processes, equipment and materials for assembly operations in Aerospace electronics, with goal of reducing costs
- Working knowledge of the NASA soldering/ assembly specifications a plus
- Must have above average hands on knowledge of manufacturing equipment
- Working knowledge of Visual Manufacturing & AutoCAD a strong plus
- Identify non- value added operations and implement lean manufacturing techniques
Job Skills
- Associates degree is required
- B.S in Mechanical Engineering/ Materiel Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering, etc. a plus
