Job Description
1st shift hours – 630am to 415pm
Willing and able to work 2nd shift if needed; 230pm to 12am
Willing and able to work extended hours if needed
Requirements:
- Responsible for conducting engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work.
- Performs engineering tests, detailed experimental testing or operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
- Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in equipment.
- May work with complex machines or computer systems.
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs calibrates, aligns, assembles and operates equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
- Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
Job Skills
- MUST have prior Vocational or Manufacturing experience.
- MUST have prior Assembly experience.
- GED or high school diploma at a minimum is required
- Prior experience as an auto, marine, or aircraft mechanic, may be a plus.
- Experience performing work following engineering drawings and processes.
- At times performing tasks above shoulder level, possible 2 hour duration.
- Able to move equipment 40 pounds or less if needed to on occasion.
- Able to work at, times, to work at elevated heights of up to 30 feet (on a platform, with a harness).
- Strong computer skills including MS Windows and Office products.
