Job Description
- Responsible for calibration, repair and maintenance of General Purpose and Environmental, Test, Measurement and Diagnostics equipment with an emphasis on RF equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, RF power meters and sensors, and frequency counters.
- Strong attention to detail is highly required
- Reading and understanding electrical drawings.
- Background in basic electronics.
- Troubleshooting down to circuit card and component level.
- Writing and validating calibration procedures.
- Able to train other Technicians.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Job Skills
- Experience with MS Windows and Word.
- Experience programming complex computer systems is a plus.
- Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Experience repairing and calibration of general purpose test equipment.
- Able to work occasional weekend, off-shift or overtime work.
- Military/P.M.E.L. training is preferred.
- SW training and experience is a plus.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
