Job Description
- Work with Engineers, Salesmen and our production team as needed to provide top assembly drawings, detail drawings and BOM’s using SolidWorks 2018.
- General use of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote and QuickBooks.
- Help with finding vendors, material ordering and COGS.
- Act as a liaison between engineering and production.
- A self-motivated, detail oriented individual willing to work in a fast-paced environment is essential for this position.
Job Skills
- Experience in creating complete production drawing packages including BOMs.
- Computer proficiency in SolidWorks or related CAD software as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Associate’s degree or higher in mechanical or civil technology is preferred but not required.
- 5 years related experience is preferred.
- CAD experience in civil or mechanical design work.
- Strong computer skills and a good understanding of general design and drafting practices.
- Experience in dimensioning and tolerancing drawings, creating sub-assemblies and bill of materials.
- Knowledge of purchasing, inventory control and costing would also be favorable.
