Job Description

  • Responsible for all aspects of RF Engineering, performs and is responsible for broad activities of high power RF product development such as solid-state switches, limiters, control components, amplifiers or LNA’s and multi-function modules from 1MHz to 18+GHz.
  • Responsible for overall coordination of efforts, including making job assignments for RF Engineering personnel and keeping applicable executive(s) informed as to personnel requirements.
  • Responsible for the review and approval of all RF Engineering design.
  • Responsible for the preparation and submission of Estimates to Complete (ETC), status reports and technical reports on assigned projects on a timely basis. Insures that all stages of the project are properly documented by reports, drawing, photographs, etc., as applicable, to insure reimbursement for works accomplished and to safeguard proprietary rights.
  • Prepares schedules for work and insures that all commitments are met on time.
  • Drives the growth of the Company through improvements in processes, procedures and capital equipment acquisitions.
  • Assists the Marketing Department in evaluating commercial potential of new product development as well as reviews and evaluates sales opportunities and participates in the marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of PIN diodes, LNA’s, multi-function modules, GaN, LDMOS and GaAs transistors and die as well as design of wideband high-power RF switches or amplifiers.
  • Experience with hybrid design, MIL-STD-883 and clean room processes.
  • Organizes and develops the staff for the manufacturing operations.
  • Analyzes cost effectiveness of all programs, responsible for budgeting and resource planning.

Job Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Additional course work in engineering management, business administration or comparable experience preferred.
  • 10 years of broad professional experience including successful leadership of engineering design teams on major projects required.
  • 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity required.
  • Due to Government contracts and ITAR regulations must be a US Citizen or permanent resident and able to get security clearance.
