Job Description

  • Manage direct reports to ensure schedules for the product line are achieved. 
  • Ensure that the product line is properly staffed in accordance with program requirements.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate across functional departments to ensure an efficient transition of hardware through the factory.
  • Meet cost targets and estimating cost at completion.
  • Ensure employee safety throughout the operation process, developing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) where required.
  • Eliminate waste, utilizing lean manufacturing principles, resulting in improved efficiency.
  • Lead morning product line Gemba.
  • Create a product line team environment, leading to Lean 2 Second improvements to increase profitability.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to lead a diverse staff. Able to meet commitments in a faced pace environment.
  • Lead weekly team meetings to discuss product strategies and status as required. 

Job Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in an Engineering discipline. 
  • 10 plus years of working experience in a Manufacturing environment managing product lines.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory position.
  • Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
  • Preferred Additional Skills: MBA a plus; Strong mechanical background a plus; Proficient with Lean Manufacturing tools and processes
