Job Description
- Perform all aspects of bidding government contracts. This will include shredding an RFP, creating a schedule and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based on the RFP. Create a Kick-Off package to present to the estimators. Co-Chair the kick-Off meeting with the Program/Proposal manager. Receive inputs and review for compliance to the RFP and WBS.
- Coordinate changes and upload into system and price the proposal. Assist/participate in sign-off presentations and coordinate all change from these meetings.
- Create a compliant cost volume and submit to the customer.
- Participate in Fact Finding and Negotiations with the customer. Support all meetings and update proposal as needed.
Job Skills
- BS degree in Finance, Business or Accounting along with 6+ years’ experience interpreting and implementing proposal estimating, pricing and documentation requirements for government contracts; 4+ years of experience with a Master’s degree.
- At least 3 years of experience with FARs/DARs, CAS and TINA.
- Preferred Qualifications: Program finance experience in a DoD or government environment; Experience conducting detailed financial analysis; Experience managing, preparing, administering, and directing the control of the budget for large and/or complex programs; Experience reviewing and approving recommendations for financial planning and control; Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel 7.0 or higher and Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Power Point a plus.
- Must be able to pass background screening.
