Job Description
- Inspect a variety of electrical, electronic and electromechanical items such as chassis, racks, and hardware using general and optical inspection equipment to ensure quality levels and accuracy to contract requirements.
- Approve or reject items using simple schematics, blueprints, breakdown sheets, government, industry and company specifications.
- Identify causes of rejects and records test data and other documentation according to established inspection procedures.
- May assist in the development and implementation of Corrective Actions, Preventative Actions, or Process Improvement plans.
- Support other inspection/audit functions as required by performing visual inspection of moderately complex electro/mechanical assemblies to blueprints, ECO’s and established written procedures.
- Perform source inspections at various locations.
- Record dimensional results and test data into computer/systems.
- Perform First Article Inspections (including AS9102 FAIs and required.
- Use XRF to verify plating coating and thickness.

Job Skills
- High School diploma required, two year technical school diploma desirable.
- A minimum of 10 years of quality inspection experience with a working knowledge of inspection techniques and related electrical and mechanical measuring equipment and instruments is required.
- Hands-on experience working with various inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) and optical measuring equipment and CMMs is highly desirable.
Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
