Job Description
- Contribute and expand company’s vision of continuous growth as a leading supplier of innovative solutions requiring precision time and RF/microwave frequency generation and synthesis, applicable in GPS denied environments, terrestrial secure communications, command and control, ELINT/ COMINT and EW/ counter measures for the U.S. Government on land, sea and air- borne platforms
- Develop, maintain, cultivate and grow existing and new relationships with prime defense contractors, military procurement officials, research laboratories and other government agencies
- Assess competition, develop and implement strategies and capture plans for key programs primarily in the U.S. military/ defense sector
- Identify, forecast and assist in booking orders
- Lead proposal efforts and contribute to the proposal content
- Prepare and deliver effective presentations to potential customers
- Build, lead and motivate the company’s field representatives
- Close on business deals
Job Skills
- Established contacts in the military/ defense marketplace, with the expertise in application of time and frequency generation technology, products and systems for military use
- Knowledge of government funding process, DoD and Intelligence Committee organization structures, government bid procedures and ample market and industry knowledge and established contacts to hit the ground running immediately
- Entrepreneurial spirit with senior management skills to implement business growth
- Team player, with the ability to interface and cooperate with all levels of the organization
- Bachelor degree in related disciplines with at least 10 years’ experience in business development and/ or program management in a respected aerospace technology company
- Driven, energetic, action-oriented, self-motivated, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of operating with minimum supervision
- US citizen with current Top Secret or Secret clearance
- Must be willing to travel
