Job Description

  • Full working knowledge of industry and government standards such as EIA-649 and MIL-HDBK-61A, ASMEY-14. Engineering drawing practices and revisions.
  • Able to audit and ensure the CDM policies & procedures, meet company objective, ISO, and CMMI Level 3 requirements.
  • Provide leadership & direction for all Program Configuration/Data Management activities.
  • Provide CDM administrative manager activities.
  • Work with CDM team to enhance configuration management and streamline workflow.
  • Provide CDM support for programs including, status, guidance conferences, drawing in process review and design reviews.
  • Interface with Functional Groups, Program Management, Associate Contractors, Subcontractors, and Customer.
  • Review\Prepare ECNs, Variances\Deviations\Waivers, ECP for correctness and compliance to requirements.
  • Review RFP, work with proposal team and prepare accurate justifiable and timely proposal inputs.
  • Prepare Configuration Management Plans to meet program specific requirements & Peculiar needs for hardware\software programs.
  • Prepare for and conduct Hardware and Software FCA\PCA to ensure requirements validations are captured, recorded & dispositionsed.
  • Prepare & submit Technical Data Packages, including review of drawings\data to insure contractual compliance and preparation of metadata.
  • Responsible custodian of classified & unclassified data & knowledge of classified security requirements.

Job Skills

  • Able to implement Software CM control, and metrics as required.
  • Knowledgeable of CDM systems / tools used in implementing CDM processes, & able to monitor & work with IT to ensure CM data integrity and necessary reports are available.
  • Knowledge of SOW\PWS & CDRL\SDRL data for contractual compliance, including the scheduled, status reports, retention of data, and submittal.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, along with verbal and written communication skills.
