Job Description

  • Achieve On Time Delivery performance objectives and report out progress.
  • Conduct bi-weekly project On Time Delivery meetings.
  • Manage project scheduling and gap closure requirements as needed.
  • Achieve scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Audit baseline project schedules for all projects.
  • Hold Project Managers, core teams accountable to schedule and deliverables.
  • Manage capital expenditures and project budgets.
  • Track lessons learned and manage best practices.
  • Participate in and lead as required Phase Gate Reviews.
  • Insure compliance with Product Lifecycle tools and procedures.
  • Manage resource planning and staffing activities.
  • Insure accurate time tracking on projects.
  • Maintain project man hour estimates and phase duration templates..
  • Maintain accurate project data reporting and insure accurate data report outs.
  • Resolve project conflicts and establish escalation path on all projects within program assignment.

Job Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or ten or more years of experience in engineering design and manufacturing required.
  • Five or more years of demonstrated Project/Program Management experience in technology development working with internal and external customers required.
  • Medical Device Manufacturing preferred. 
  • Knowledge of design control regulatory requirements preferred.
  • Formal Project management training required.  PMP certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated P&L responsibility.
  • Must be results oriented.
  • Ability to act as company and customer advocate.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and confidence communicating to senior management and customers.
  • Ability in managing technology development programs from high-level performance requirements through concept development, technology demonstration and technology transfer.
  • Ability in managing systems, managing up, and managing peers.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and programs and meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Experience in managing global teams.
  • Experience in Product/Project Lifecycle implementation and strong process and systems understanding preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly design principles required.
  • Basic knowledge in high performance cable and interconnect systems preferred.
