Job Description
- Performs assembly, of surface mount assemblies as directed in engineering documentation.
- May perform printing of boards, assembly or re-flow of surface mount assemblies.
- Set up of equipment in preparation of operation.
- May require the use of simple computer skill to perform trimming operations as required.
- Must be able to monitor and schedule operations to optimize production efficiencies.
- Reviews process documentation for any special requirements.
- May require the use of simple mechanical hand tools or measurement tool in the performance of job.
- Performed loading of feeds per machine documentation.
- Perform machine as up as required
- Assemble to IPC-610 workmanship criteria.
- Ensure that work area is kept clean and that safety rules are followed.
- Interfaces with superior and peers to resolve issues.
Job Skills
- 2 years experience required.
- Ability to read and understand bluebooks.
- Ability to determine critical points of assembly.
- Able to identify component values.
- Understanding of SMTA operations and methods, quality standards of SMTA and SAFETY issues.
- Must be available to work overtime daily as needed, this includes some Saturdays, and depending on work load, occasional Sunday.
