Job Description
• Responsible for developing and deploying satellite networks. These include iDirect TDMA networks, company’s Vipersat and Advanced VSAT and other technologies.
• Responsible for the implementation of new VSAT systems, ongoing support as well as modifications and changes to existing systems.
• Planning and implementation of new installations and upgrades
• Ongoing support and maintenance of baseband infrastructure
• Design and specification of hub baseband infrastructure
• Provide Tier 3 advanced troubleshooting support to Operations team
• Work closely with other teams to deploy new baseband infrastructure
• Work with vendors to define requirements and test new products and updates
• Develop documentation and specifications defining infrastructure design and procedures for utilization of the networks
• Design, develop, and document comprehensive maintenance, operation and test plans
• Plan and schedule project timelines
Job Skills
• BSEE degree required.
• Minimum Six years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of satellite communications
• Knowledge of iDirect TDMA and company Vipersat and Advanced VSAT platforms will be a plus
• Proven experience in satellite communications
