Job Description
- Responsible for establishing plans, policies and procedures at all levels so quality improvement efforts will meet or exceed internal and external customers’ needs and expectations.
- Manage and schedule the company Quality Team.
- Implement a plan and timeline for achieving registration working with the company Quality Consultant.
- Work with the company Quality Consultant to implement the new Quality Manual which is compliant to the AS9100 rev D standard and provide the interrelationships between the requirements of the standard and our procedures as required by the standard.
- Develop and implement a system of process audits which will comply with the “process approach” of the AS9100 rev D standard.
- Generate a series of flow diagrams and provide the interrelationship of these processes as required.
- Develop and implement training modules for needed areas at company.
- Ensures the administration of company quality, process or business improvement efforts including dealing with customers and suppliers on quality or performance issues.
- Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
- Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied
- Ensure all legal standards are met
- Communicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections
Job Skills
- 10 years quality experience. Bachelor of Science or equivalent career experience.
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
- Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
- Outstanding communication skills. Able to work effectively with a wide range of issues.
- Great attention to detail and a results driven approach
- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9001/AS 9100)
