Job Description
• Ensure Quality Control review and approval of CMM and Numerical Control Programs
• Oversees and maintains Measurement System Analysis to include Gauge Repeatability and Reliability studies.
• Validate incorporation into work instructions
• Develops and conducts associated training of inspectors and CMM operators
• Review and approve special process schedules ( i.e. Laser, Plasma Coating, Welding)
• Implement and maintain CMM correlation and validation process
• Perform Statistical Process Control and data analysis. Incorporate sample inspection plans accordingly.
• Approve shop floor root cause analysis and oversee effective incorporation.
Job Skills
• B.S. in Engineering or related field
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience in a manufacturing environment or related industry.
• Six Sigma certificate preferred.
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and minitab.
• Must have experience with Customer web-based quality systems
• Must be proficient with computers.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before employees in the organization
