Job Description
- Ensure Quality Control review and approval of CMM and Numerical Control Programs
- Oversees and maintains Measurement System Analysis to include Gauge Repeatability and Reliability studies
- Validate incorporation into work instructions
- Develops and conducts associated training of inspectors and CMM operators
- Review and approve special process schedules ( i.e. Laser, Plasma Coating, Welding)
- Implement and maintain CMM correlation and validation process
- Perform Statistical Process Control and data analysis. Incorporate sample inspection plans accordingly
- Approve shop floor root cause analysis and oversee effective incorporation
- Perform duties/responsibilities related to this as assigned by the Quality Manager
Job Skills
- B.S. in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of seven (7) years experience in a manufacturing environment or related industry
- Six Sigma certificate preferred
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and minitab
- Must have experience with Customer web-based quality systems
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
