Job Description

• Develop and maintain Master Program schedules using Microsoft Project & Excel in a Systems Engineering and Electronic Equipment Manufacturing and Production environment.
• Provide status and reporting on those schedules to Program Managers/Directors and the Management team as required and track completion milestones.
• Assist in budget preparation, implementation, reporting and estimate to complete (ETC).
• Assist in constructing product-oriented and task-oriented work breakdown structures.
• Monitor schedules for potential conflicts between other programs.
• Validate schedules against contract requirements and available resource pools.
• Establish schedule baselines and monitor adherence or deviation to the baseline.
• Develop, track and maintain planned costs versus actuals.
• Develop and maintain electronic database and/or spreadsheets to track program historical data for variances to proposals and coordinate them with the appropriate departments.
• Develop and maintain process to track purchase requisitions versus actual purchase orders versus WBS.
• Act as the interface between PMO and accounting on maintaining monthly reports.
• Assist in supporting Sr. Management tasks assigned to Program Managers.
• Schedule and track monthly program deliverables.

Job Skills

• Minimum AS degree in business or related field.
• Minimum 5-10 years relevant experience.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel 2013 and MS Project 2013.
• Proficient in MS Word 2013, MS Power Point 2013.
• Knowledgeable in use and developing databases.
• Experienced in developing and tracking adherence to schedules.
• Experienced in the requirements of Project Management and the functions of a Program Management Office.
• Experience with formal cost reporting and accounting systems and/or processes.
